Project Description

Spherical plain bearing is mainly composed of an inner ring with an outer spherical surface and an outer ring with an inner spherical surface. Its structure is simpler than that of a rolling bearing. Spherical plain bearing is generally used for low-speed oscillating motion and can rotate at any angle during operation. Since its sliding surface is spherical, it has a self-lubricating function, and can also perform self-aligning movement within a certain angle range. When the support shaft and the shaft housing hole have a large misalignment, the bearing can still work. Most spherical plain bearings are made through a variety of special processing methods such as alramenting, galvanizing, chrome plating or lining, inlaying, and spraying for outer sliding surfaces.
Spherical plain bearings have a large load capacity, good impact resistance, corrosion and wear resistance, self-aligning, and good lubrication features. According to different types and structures, they can bear radial loads, axial loads or radial and axial combined loads. It is widely used in forging machine tools, engineering machinery, automation equipment, automobile shock absorbers, hydraulic machinery and other machinery.
ISUTAMI offers regular-size spherical plain bearings, including inch and metric specifications. We can also customize with special structures and sizes according to customers’ requirements.
