Self-aligning ball bearings have two rows of balls, a single common sphered raceway in the outer ring and a double deep uninterrupted raceway in the inner ring. This function enables the bearing to have self-aligning performance, which can keep the machine operating well even when an angular misalignment of the shaft relative to the housing occurs. Self-aligning ball bearings are in open or sealed type. The material of the cage can be steel or POM. Self-aligning ball bearings are not sensitive to the misalignment of the shaft relative to the housing.
