Hub bearing, also called wheel hub bearing, is one of the key parts for the automobiles. Its main function is to carry weight and provide precise guidance for the wheel hub rotation. This requires hub bearings to bear not only axial loads but also radial loads.
The hub bearing unit is developed on the basis of standard angular contact ball bearings and tapered roller bearings. It combines the two bearings as a whole, and has good assembly performance, compact structure, and easy maintenance. Now it has been widely used in cars and there is also a tendency of gradually expanding applications in trucks.
